Pointless interview. The whole Taslima case is hilarious to the point of idiocy. Or probably, a deft ploy by the government to shift attention to something, which, in the end will be quite inconsequential.
yes, and if you were here to listen to them arguing the heinous crimes of the writer, you would see how transparent the effort is, to attempt to divert attention away from the nandigram business, etc. the trouble is, while this is tactically no more than a diversion, it makes of taslima, as i am sure she is, utterly dispensable. this state govt really doesn't care tuppence for the safety of an individual who is explicitly under threat. and if she does happen to be harmed/killed as any follow-through, all the better for this govt, for then attention WILL be diverted, won't it, and much more effectively too?
